Lou Boyd began her career in 2001 in the plastic surgery arena, where she built a deep foundation in corrective skincare and advanced treatment. More than twenty-five years later, that clinical rigor still shapes every appointment.

Her philosophy is simple: understand the skin before treating it. Lou looks at its condition, biology, and history, then builds a plan that supports the barrier and delivers meaningful, lasting improvement. That approach is the Lou Boyd Method.

As a licensed Jet Plasma partner, Lou is the only provider in the Huntsville area offering the T33, the newest generation of non-thermal plasma technology. Why Jet Plasma?

What do you love most about what you do?: Helping clients finally understand their skin, especially those who feel they've tried everything and still aren't seeing results. There's nothing better than watching someone see real improvement and regain confidence. It isn't only about what happens during an appointment; it's about helping clients understand what their skin actually needs, and why.
What do you believe about skincare?: Less is often more. Healthy skin doesn't need to be constantly stripped, overstimulated, or buried in products. My approach is to support the skin, protect its barrier, and use the right ingredients and treatments at the right time. A smart, consistent plan will almost always outperform doing more for the sake of doing more.
What makes your approach different?: I don't chase trends, and I don't believe every new treatment is right for every person. I look at the skin in front of me — its condition, biology, and history — and what we're trying to accomplish before deciding how to treat it. After twenty-five years, I've learned the most aggressive treatment is rarely the most effective one.
