Lou Boyd Aesthetics (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an advanced skincare and aesthetics studio founded by Lou Boyd and located at 5832 US Hwy 431, Brownsboro, AL 35741. This policy explains how we handle information collected through this website, our online booking, new-client intake, online video consultations, and the client portal.

Some locations operate under a license to use the Lou Boyd brand and Method. When you book with or are treated at a licensed studio, that studio also receives and uses your information as described here.

Information you give us

• Contact details, such as your name, email address, and phone number, when you book, request a consultation, or contact us.
• Appointment details, including the treatment, location, date, time, and any notes you add.
• Intake and skin health information, such as skin concerns, goals, skin type, medical history, medications, allergies, pregnancy status, and treatment history. This is sensitive information and we treat it that way.
• Online consultation content, including the videos you record or upload and the messages exchanged with your practitioner.
• Your communication preferences, including whether you agree to receive appointment text messages.
• Business details you share if you inquire about licensing the Lou Boyd Method.

Information collected automatically

• How you found us: the referring site, landing page, and campaign tags (for example, UTM parameters) in the link you followed. We store this in your browser and attach it to a booking if you make one.
• Basic technical information, such as your browser type, device, IP address, and the pages you request, recorded in standard server logs for security and troubleshooting.

We do not use advertising cookies or sell your information. We use only the cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in to the client portal, remember how you arrived at the site, and keep the site secure.

• To schedule, confirm, change, and remind you of appointments.
• To plan safe, personalized treatments and keep accurate client records.
• To review your online consultation and send your practitioner’s response and recommended next steps.
• To communicate with you by email and, if you opt in, by text message.
• To respond to questions and licensing inquiries.
• To understand which marketing brings clients to us and to improve our services and website.
• To protect the security of our systems and comply with legal obligations.

If you opt in when booking, we may text you appointment confirmations, updates, and reminders. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect your appointments. We do not share your phone number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their marketing.

We share your information only as needed to run our business and care for you:

• With the practitioners and staff at the location where you book or are treated. Staff access is limited by role and location.
• With service providers who host our website, database, and file storage, and who deliver our email and text messages. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• With Lou Boyd Aesthetics headquarters, which supports licensed locations and maintains the platform.
• When required by law, to protect someone’s safety, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business.

We never sell your personal information.

Consultation videos are stored privately. They are not publicly accessible and can be viewed only by you, through your secure portal link, and by authorized staff at your location.

We automatically delete consultation videos after a set period once your consultation is booked, closed, or cancelled. That period is currently 12 months unless your location sets a shorter one. If you replace a video, the earlier version is permanently deleted within 7 days. You can ask us to delete your videos sooner at any time.

We keep client and treatment records for as long as you are a client and afterward for as long as needed to provide continuity of care, resolve disputes, and meet legal and professional record-keeping obligations. Consultation videos follow the schedule above. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

We use encrypted connections, private file storage, time-limited and signed links for intake and portal access, and role-based staff accounts. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your portal and intake links private and let us know right away if you believe a link has been shared with someone else.

You may ask us to:

• See the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Delete your information, including consultation videos, unless we are required to keep it.
• Stop sending you text messages (reply STOP) or marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link or email us).

To make a request, email info@louboyd.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Our website and online booking are intended for adults 18 and older. Treatment for anyone under 18 requires a parent or guardian, who should contact us directly. We do not knowingly collect information from children online.

We may update this policy as our services change. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date, and if the changes are significant we will let current clients know. Please also review our Terms of Service.
